Happy Easter

Happy Easter! We had a fun couple of days while we celebrated the fun holiday. Of course we remembered the real reason for the holiday and are so grateful for the Savior's role in our lives. Saturday morning we went to the ward Easter Egg Hunt. It was Lily's 2nd Easter Egg Hunt but this year was much more enjoyable.

Lily picked up the first egg that she found and became intrigued with the shaking sound. We had to keep reminding her to find more eggs. Everyone was allowed 10 eggs...Lily became too busy trying to open her eggs that she only got 8.

The basket was almost as big as she was!

Dan's always a good sport to play with Lily on the playground toys.

On the way home we decided to stop by Sister Foote's to give her an Easter egg. We got there to find a ton of cars parked around her house. We headed in to find about 20 members of her family eating breakfast. It was so fun to meet some of them for the first time! And I have never seen so many shoes in one place in my life!

We tried to get a picture of Lily with Sister Foote but it didn't quite work. But it's still cute!

Looks like great weather for an Easter egg hunt. It's funny how we try to get the kids to look around and get as much as they can when all they are interested in is just the one thing in front of them that brings them joy. There may be a gospel principle in that somewhere. Enjoy your nice weather. We are getting more rain/snow tonight. Wish you were here to enjoy it!
