Washington County Fair

I took the girls to the Washington County Fair.  Dan had to work so he couldn't go.  It was hot but luckily a lot of the events were indoors.  Lily's favorite part was the bounce house.  Kara's favorite part was...the food.

Saturday morning we went to the County Fair parade.  Lily won the t-shirt she's wearing for the being best dancer in between floats.  Afterwards we got a picture with one of the "princesses."

Later in the day we went to the fair and saw stingrays.  Pretty cool!!

Lily in the bounce house.  She was in heaven and wanted to stay bouncing forever.  Luckily forever for a kid isn't very long.

The fair also offered free train rides.  So fun!

There was a kaleidoscope exhibit.  The girls got to make a kaleidoscope image and then put it under a kaleidoscope to see it all broken up.

My favorite part was a band.  It was a rock band.  There was an electric violin that was SO cool.  The girls loved to dance to the music.

Mecham Family Reunion

The Mecham family reunion is always held the first weekend of August.  It is always SO fun and very entertaining.  Family comes from all over:  Northern Utah, Washington, etc.  This year the count was close to 300 people!  Pretty amazing.  This year there was a huge water slide.  And of course the raffle which is always a hoot.  Anyways, here are some fun pictures.

Aunt Shonnee was so good to take all the kids down the slide....multiple times.  This was the first time Lily went down.  She was so excited!
