Yes it's true! We are going to have another baby! My due date is July 29th. We find out next month if it's a boy or girl! We are very excited and can't wait to meet the little peep.

Swimming

Dan took Lily swimming up on campus a couple of weeks ago. I've taken her a lot but she didn't like being in the water much. But with her Daddy she felt a lot more confident and actually floated on her back! He's a good Daddy!

Christmas

We were extra excited this Christmas. Lily started to comprehend what Christmas was all about. She loved the Christmas tree lights and the little wood Santa that we had as a decoration. She constantly hugged it and told it she loved it. Smart girl.

Dan and I stayed in bed talking for a whole hour until 7am when we couldn't wait any longer and had to wake Lily up. The pictures are in no order but I don't want to redo it. So I'll label each pix.

This was at my parent's house Christmas afternoon. Lily got a Memory game from my bro Daniel (the one picking his nose in the background) and his wife Kaitlyn.

Lily was funny opening the presents. When all the grand kids were opening at the same time she watched them all and then opened hers last.

Lily wearing the bib Grandma Mecham gave her.

One of Lily's favorite presents from Santa was bubble bath. When she saw it she said "Oh thank you thank you!" I love grateful children!

Another favorite present was Lily's "wips" (lips). It was attached to a necklace. Now she doesn't have to eat mine!!

All the kids in my family. Fun times.

Dan's parents went to Washington DC for Christmas to see two of their children who live there. While we missed them we were glad they got to go see some of the far away grand kids.

Dan had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas. He had New Year's Eve off and was so excited to play games. Unfortunately we all came down with the stomach flu and ended up sleeping through New Year's Eve! Hopefully things will be better next year, Dan!

We did get to go see him Christmas Day at work. He works at a rest home and my family went in to sing to all the old folk. It was a fun new tradition.

Cousins

I have been able to babysit Lily's cousins on Monday for the last 4 months. We have had such a fun time!

The three do everything together...

As a holiday going away present we gave them all sunglasses. They were pretty hot stuff.

We found out over the holidays that their mom would not have to work anymore so we wouldn't be babysitting them anymore. We miss them but are so glad they get to stay with their mom!

Go Aggies!

With Dan going to school at USU we get to attend all the games. Lily has become an extreme Aggie fan. She has an Aggie bear, an Aggie flag that she had to sleep with, an Aggie foam hand. She runs to get the paper every morning so we can see if there's a picture of the Aggies in the paper. I've never seen anything like it!

We've gone to almost every basketball game this season. On the way to each game she chants "Aggies, Aggies, Aggies!"

Below is a song that the Aggie fans sing at least once at every game. Lily caught on quickly:

We have to sing this song at least 3x a day. When she gets tired of doing it we have to sing it so she can move her doll's arms up and down.

Baby It's Cold Outside!

It turns out that Lily is definitely a California girl. She is not a fan of the snow.

I got her to lay in the snow for about 2 seconds and then she was done.

She did like this big pile of snow, though. She was sure proud to get to the top!

Lily loves to wrap up in Daddy's coat. This is my favorite picture of Dan and Lily.

This is the coldest winter in the longest time. So sad that we had to be here for it!! I'm sure we'll get used to the cold but holy cow I sure miss the CA weather!

Honey Baked Ham

Ever since Dan started working 2 jobs and going to school I have wanted to do something to help out in the monetary area of our life.

Last month I applied for a job at Honey Baked Ham. It was a temporary job...just for the holidays. Well I got the job! I am working at a kiosk selling their hams.

Cheesy you might say. But, those who know me know that I LOVE customer service and selling. It is the perfect job for me! Today was my first day and I am LOVING it.

Temple

One Sunday in September the lesson in Sunday School AND Relief Society was on the importance of temple attendance. After that I decided to set a goal to go to the temple once a week. It worked out perfectly since I do a babysitting switch with a girl in my ward once a week.

The first week I went I met a lady who attends the temple 4 times a week!! Wow. She said that since her kids are all in school she has a lot more time to attend the temple which makes both her and the Lord happier.

What a difference I have felt in my life! Going to the temple has given me focus and peace in my life. And, going to the temple doesn't have to be 2 hours every time! There are things that need to be done that take only half hour or an hour.

I am grateful that the Lord is giving me this time to take care of myself as well as furthering his work.

Pictures from a Yucky Camera

While my camera is in the shop I bought a cheap-o camera. So here are some pictures that I am glad we have for posterity purpose:

As of late this is how Lily has looked everytime we go somewhere. She must have her sunglasses and she must have her hat! She gets quite a lot of laughs! Here she is with Grandpa.

Our local Famer's Market had a Trick-or-Treat event. Lily is going to be a cat. She is adorable! I love Halloween and can't wait to take Lily on her official trick-or-treating event.

This park was the most amazing one I've ever seen! It was built by the community and paid for with grants.

Lily enjoying a car at the mall.

I get to babysit my niece and nephew on Mondays. Here are the kids waving to the passerbys.
