What Lily's Been Up To

Lily has had more fun than she knows what to do with. Here are pictures of a few things she's been up to:

What Dan's Been Up To

I mentioned in the last post that Dan got to go to ID to work on an irrigation system for a place called "The Valley." It is an wildlife preserve owned by his family. Here are some pictures of The Valley:

Dan has been out of town putting in an irrigation system for his family in ID. He's been gone for over a week! While we miss him we are sure glad that he has found something to keep him busy as he was ready to get out of the house.

My camera died a couple of months ago and Dan has his camera so I don't have any new pictures.

The above picture was when we first arrived in UT. Lily wanted to go out so bad one morning so Dan let her out thinking she would get cold quickly and come back. Well she didn't and Dan had to chase her down.

Speaking of Lily (when do we stop?) she has started talking! Today her words were "da" (dog) and "ock" (sock). Sunday and Monday she was heard to say "cracka" (cracker) and "tankoo" (thank you). It sure is fun! Other than that she is talking a lot of jibberish that has so many "ck" and other known sounds that it seems like I should be understanding what she is saying!

Anyways, just wanted to let you all know that we are still here! I will have tons to blog about when Dan gets home with the camera which will hopefully be tomorrow.

Pay It Forward

Pay it forward...

I thought this was such a good idea that I wanted to take part, so please humor me (I'm really, really, really excited to do this) and be one of the first three to leave me a comment!! You won't regret it ;) ALSO, don't be intimidated by this if you live further away, just leave me your address and you will still get something...it may be a small, non-perishable item but you will get it just the same ;)

And now, the fine print...

1. No guarantees that you will like what you get (but I will do my best)
2. What I create will be made specifically for you.
3. It will be done sometime this year. :)
4. Most importantly, you must offer this same deal on your blog-the first three people to comment on your post get something from you!

Enjoy!

Moving

Well, we have moved! It all went rather quickly. My parents flew out last Thursday. We finished packing that Thursday and Friday morning we packed up and were outta there. We are now living with my parents in the great state of UT! We are so grateful that they are so willing to let us stay here until Dan can find a job. We are enjoying less stress and spending time with family. Also thank you to Dan's parents for helping with the moving expenses and supporting us as well. Oh yes, and thanks to the guys that loaded our truck up in a little less than 2 hours! And nothing ended up being broken! Here are some pictures from our move?

So I'm still learning how to cluster pictures so here's an explanation of each picture:
Brookie and her kids came to see us a couple of times before we left. They were some of our closest friends around. I know they (including Aaron) won't miss us (adopting 2 kids takes a lot of time!) but we will sure miss them and we are sure glad they have a blog!
Daisha and Lily trying to jump aboard.
Dan and our good friend Karen. Dan used to work with Karen's husband, Tim back when days were good. Karen came by to help us pack and vacuumed our whole house! Thanks, Karen!
Our moving van.
Another friend, Jennifer, came by to say goodbye. Brooke and I visiting taught her when I first moved into the ward. I got to stay her VT even after the wards split. Lucky me!
So that's the down low folks. We are getting settled in. We are so happy to be here!
